Siebel support for IE7

Until recently, Siebel didn't fully support the IE7 Web browser which was released in October 2006. This was an issue for some customers who wanted to deploy the latest version of Internet Explorer to all desktop machines. Recently, support for IE7 has been added for the High Interactivity Web client for all versions higher than 7.5. The summary of the Siebel versions (and QuickFixes) required to support IE7 is:
- 8.0.0.1 with QF0103
- 7.8.2.5 with QF0547
- 7.7.2.8 with QF0814
- 7.5.3.17
For most Siebel customers, this will probably mean upgrading to the latest maintenance release and a QuickFix but at least the option is available now. For full details (including supported versions for the Standard Interactivity Web Client), refer to Alert 1251 on SupportWeb.
